My New Years Resolution

You know, this is my last year's, New Year’s Resolution that I'm speaking of.

One of the things I promised myself was that I was going to write in my blog more.

Well, I've done it.

Maybe not as much as I'd have wanted, but, more than before, and I'm getting better all the time.

Now, I'm beginning to get a hold of some of the ideas I want to share.

I can focus them and figure them out better if I think of them in years, as in the Santa Cruz years, or the Toronto years, or the New Orleans years, etc...

Then I'll pick specific stories out of those years, and write them up.

I'm also considering doing videos of some of those, too.

Well, I'm a little slow, (leave my mental abilities out of this, he he,) but I'm getting there.

In fact, earlier today I added a bunch of photos to my Flickr account. I put a bunch of the Superhero Street Faire photos on there, although next time I want to resize them. I didn't have time this time, because it's the end of the month and my 100 GB free, monthly allotment, runs out at the end of the month, so just use it up now and get more in a few days.

So, my leisure-time activities skills are growing.

My photography and video-taping is getting much better, so are my movie-making skills. I've now got well over 40 movies on youtube, I'm starting to build my Flickr account, and I've even won one photography contest, albeit a small one.

Another of my resolutions was that if I bought myself a Wii Fit Plus, I would use it every day for at least 6 months, before allowing myself to become lazy and stop. Well, I attained about 4 months, but will take it back up when it becomes winter and dark out early.

This is not simply BS.

I mostly bought it to help me stretch when I was spending a lot of time sitting down at my computer desk writing and not getting enough exercise. I basically stopped using it when I started getting out more on hikes and photowalks.

However, winter's coming, and pretty Damn quick, at that.

I've got a lot of challenges right this moment, so things are pretty difficult, but, what else is new?

If I can continue to expand and grow, I'll make it.

At least for now and that's all anybody's got.

Hope y'all are doing at least as well.
