I’ve got this cool new toy called an iTwin. It’s like a USB cable without the cable. I plug it into my computer, load files that I want to be able to access into the iTwin folder that it creates, and take the twin half with me. As long as I leave it plugged in and turned on, I can access those files anywhere I’ve got a computer with internet. It has military-grade encryption, a password to access it, and if I lose one half, I can disable it from anywhere or just go home and unplug the first half.
There is nothing on it! It is not a USB memory stick, it’s a connection to my home computer, but you can only access the files I placed into the iTwin folder, nothing else on my computer! Every single time I plug it in it starts fresh; new encryption between the two halves, new password if I want to create one, everything. I even have to load whatever files I want to be able to access this time. Pretty cool toy. Pretty useful, too. Only real complaint I have is that there is no key-chain connector on it so it’s left to just rattle around in my pocket loose. I don’t like that.
I got mine from CostCaptain.com
Right now I’ve got a couple TB’s on it. I’m going to my buddies house later and I want to be able to offer him any of the movies I’ve got, among other things! I’ve got 676 GB’s of movies alone! You aren’t fitting that on a USB stick!
