Wow! Perpetual motion DOES exist. You can see it in action here.
I remember reading about this just a few years back. The guy invented it as an assist for electric motors. Place two magnets near each other so that one draws you forward and then the other pushes you away, forward also. There was talk at the time about how he was putting it into electric fans which then took almost no energy to run.
I guess it's come a long way since then.
