And in celebration, SF is staging the 13th Annual How Weird Street Faire, (link here.)
This is a wonderful, funny costumed event with DJ's, and dancing, and more different kinds of foods and international treasure than you can shake a stick at, (where'd that saying come from, anyways?)
It's only two blocks from the Montgomery BART Station, (at New Montgomery and Howard Streets,) and it runs from noon until 8pm.
There is also 'How Weird @ Night,' the official after party.
They ask for $10 donation at the gate but it's no biggie if you're broke, so come on down.
