I try to always use stuff that works.
I mean stuff that really, really, works.
For example: Do you remember those old commercials that told you that '...aspirin starts to work in 60 seconds...'?
Well, I like Tiger Balm!
Tiger Balm Red, the extra strength one.
You just rub it into your temples and across your forehead and then relax.
If your headache is really bad, rub it into the muscles under your ears, and the cords on the back of your neck, too.
Push your finger into those muscles; if it's sore, balm it.
'Starts to work in 60 seconds'?
In 60 seconds it isn't just 'starting' to work.
You can feel your headache disappearing!
Now that's what I mean by 'really works.'
Got a toothache?
Shakespeare said that the worst pain known to modern man was toothache, (although I like to think we are a little more modern now than we were then.)
Nowadays we've got all these cool chemical pain relievers for toothaches, however, one of the best is still 'Clove Oil.'
You can get it at most whole food stores, natural food stores, health food type places, pharmacies, etc...
It doesn't require a prescription, either.
The problem is that big pharma doesn't make any money on it so they discourage it's use.
Put a drop on a q-tip, and rub it on the problem area.
It numbs out the pain and is also effective as an antiseptic, preventing infection.
Now how can you beat that?
For under $10 you've got a multi-year supply for the whole family!
Or how about for a sore throat?
Try 'Fisherman's Friend,' cough drops.
These are not the 'candy' cough drops you're used to.
These don't coat your throat with 'honey-lemon candy,' like most cough drops do.
They come in flavors, but, I like the originals the best.
Experiment, if you want.
I like stuff that really works.
Whatcha got?
