'Diamond Life," by Joseph Baur

Though many sides be on a diamond,
I wish to see them all;
I'll make them shine and glow for me,
And never let them fall.

Now call the diamond, 'human life,'
And see the many sides;
And you can start to understand,
That life is many rides.

Roller coaster, ferris wheel,
Tilt-a-Whirl, too;
And now you start to understand,
How life relates to you.

Though many sides be on a diamond,
I wish to see them all;
I'll make them shine and glow for me,
And never let them fall.
